Close review of this product uncovered the following good and bad features:

Good:

  1. Glass and metal construction
  2. Water tastes pure and clean
  3. Cleans easily
  4. Comfortable handle
  5. Has volume markings both in cups and liters
  6. You can see water level perfectly
Bad:
  1. Noisy
  2. Takes about 8 min to heat maximum volume of water (1.75  quart)
  3. The spout is made of plastic, so water does go through a little bit of plastic when poured
  4. The lid might start malfunctioning after some use

One user of this kettle said:

“I’ve had this kettle for 3 years and it still works great. No problem here. It finally has a little mineral build up on the bottom but I am going to try vinegar to take it off when it gets worse. Really everything works as intended, no smells or problems with the top, and I use it many time a day. The only issue I have is some of the “non-slip coating” has come off the handle. This is only cosmetic and hasn’t change the function in any way…                                                                                                                                                                                 Joanne N. Piper”
